I thought I wrote a review about this place but oops, time to remedy that.
I have been wanting to go here for the longest time but I didn't know if they took card and the timing was always off. But finally with bits of information and calling Pam, all my questions were answered and I got to go with my boyfriend. Speaking of which, definitely call ahead as they are a popular spot for parties so it helps also their hours for food services are from 11am-3pm, but the boutique shop is opened for the hours shown on Yelp.
Anyways, the owners/staff are super down to earth and extremely friendly. They are knowledgable and passionate about what they bring to customers. I had to have the lavender lemonade as my fellow Yelpers mentioned, please get it! It is faint yet also so flavorful! My boyfriend got the poor man's coffee which is coffee and hot chocolate, now it's his favorite drink! We crave these drinks so often and they are free refills! Score!
Now the food we got were the specials which is 1/2 of either chicken salad, egg salad or tuna salad sandwich and a cup of soup (chicken and wild rice, broccoli cheddar and the another but can't remember the name). They come on a lovely tray with potato chips and a pickle spear. Both were delicious and we had no leftovers. For dessert we had crumpets and chocolate mousse cake. Again, very tasty and not too sweet!
Coming here again on Monday for high tea and I am so excited. Also bringing my friends to check out and give support this lovely establishment! -

I absolutely love this place! The owners are so nice and sweet. The food was simple but delicious. The tea is delicious - I had the peach oolong. I loved the scones. Everything is just so cute!

Owner couple are very warm and friendly. Food is good, space is tiny but cozy. There is a antique shop next to the cafe, very cute!

Was in the area and went because of the great reviews. 100% agree. Inexpensive and exquisite. I had the BLT and chicken wild rice soup; both were amazing and I almost licked my plate clean (but this place is too classy). My friend had the $9.99 lunch special, half a chicken salad sandwich and cup of potato bacon soup. It was all so good I ordered two desserts to go...trying to decide if I share with my wife or hide them in the garage frig. I live in Kent and I may have to make a trip south just to come back! The owners were our waitress and chef and were delightful. She just gave my friend a free cup of soup to take back to her elderly mom because she was raving about how good it was and wanted to take her here!!

Went in looking for the "classic blt", and I got it. And I got that. Bacon was a little thin, the focaccia was a bit thick. I'll make it in again, though get the sourdough instead.
Seriously impressed with the mini-cupcake: the taste and quality, and because it was offered.
The environment, the kindness and engagement, the desserts, all well done. They're re-doing the entire building to restore its vitality and place in the community. A true local business, I hope you support them.
